On 24 June, I had the privilege of attending UiPath on Tourat the Intercontinental Hotel at The O2 in London. This time, I wasn’t just there as a guest but as an expert, proudly representing Emerging T-Tech alongside our account manager Paul Lewis on the Westcon stand in the Experts Arena. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with others passionate about automation and to share the work we’ve been doing as a team.
Right from the start, the atmosphere was full of energy. The day opened with inspiring keynotes from UiPath leaders, exploring how agentic automation is driving real change across industries. One of the standout sessions came from Travis Perkins, who shared their automation journey in the construction and building materials sector. They’ve moved beyond simple task automation and are now orchestrating full end to end processes using UiPath’s platform. By combining AI agents with human oversight, they’ve transformed operations and made their digital workforce more agile and responsive.
Another compelling session was delivered by NatWest, focusing on the future of agentic testing. Their approach to using AI-powered agents to autonomously test and validate complex systems was truly eye opening, It demonstrated how intelligent automation can streamline deployment cycles, enhance compliance, and reduce operational risk in highly regulated environments like banking.
While I didn’t catch every session, as Paul and I spent much of our day speaking with visitors at our stand, the feedback from other delegates about the content on the Vision Stage was overwhelmingly positive.
Being part of the Experts Arena was a real highlight. We spoke with professionals from a wide range of backgrounds, some just beginning their automation journey and others already well advanced. The conversations were thoughtful and collaborative, with a genuine exchange of ideas that made the day feel less like a conference and more like a community gathering.
I also managed to stop by the UiPath Community booth during a quieter moment. The Spin the Wheel activity was in full swing and brought a bit of fun to balance out the more technical discussions. Events like this remind you that behind every solution and success story is a vibrant supportive community.
By the end of the day, I left feeling inspired and proud to have represented Emerging T Tech alongside Paul. The ideas we exchanged, the connections we built, and the shared excitement around what’s ahead for automation made it a truly memorable experience.
